Anya Taylor-Joy puts on a leggy display in white leather boots

  ‘Award shows are frightening, they’re really really wonderful, but it’s just not really what I do every day,’ Anya began.

‘So I made a rule that whenever I do something that’s scary, I get to do something that’s ridiculous that I’ve always wanted to do.

‘So… out of the couture gown and into the Tigger onesie, is the rule of thumb now,’ she continued as the audience applauded.

A photo was shown on screen, with the actress and her pal in a green onesie standing in an inflatable pool filled with Jell-O. 

Ellen commented, ‘that’s a lot of Jell-O,’ to which Anya responded, ‘Yeah, cold and green, surprisingly hard, harder than I thought it was gonna be.’

She added, ‘It’s very slippery and it’s quite slow. It’s almost like Tai chi. In my mind, I thought it was going to be very dynamic.’ 

While the actress didn’t wear her Tigger onesie for her appearance on Ellen – she did make a small nod to the ensemble with her choice of bold orange dress, which she paired with some fun yellow heels. 

She topped off the look with a chic hair bow from Jennifer Behr, which was used to draw her long blonde locks away from her face in a half-up ‘do styled by celebrity hair pro Gregory Russell.  

On October 9, Anya shared a photo of the Jell-O wrestling to her Instagram page, and wrote in the caption: ‘Happy Friday everyone. Jello wrestling for all.’  

Meanwhile Ellen asked for another example of something she would do that’s ridiculous after a scary task, with the actress revealing a mechanical bull is next.

‘I really want to ride a mechanical bull. I’m currently working in Savannah and they have a mechanical bull but I’m on night shoots and I’m just desperate to give it a go,’ she said.

She added that she wants it to be her, ‘party trick’ as Ellen said if she had known, she would have brought a mechanical bull for her to ride.
